Hello All!
Now is the time to sign up at ConnectUU.com for the Young Adult & Campus Ministry Training in Boston!!
The Mass Bay District will be hosting a Young Adult and Campus Ministry training on Nov. 2-3 at First Church in Boston. The training is designed to bring together leaders from UU campus groups and Young Adult groups in the Northeast in order to strengthen skills, connections and visions for campus ministry!
Who should attend: This training is for all those involved in Unitarian Universalist Young Adult groups and campus ministry, including but not limited to students, ministers, lay leaders, seminary students, and bridging youth. We'd like to extend a special invitation to bridging youth.
Topics:
-Outreach
-Leadership development
-Articulating your UU faith
-Creating a vision for your group
-Worship Planning
-Fundraising
Logistics:
-The training will go from 6pm on Friday 11/2 to 6pm on Saturday 11/3.
-Dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be provided.
-We will sleep at the church.
-Registration is free. You can register at ConnectUU.com
-If you are under 18, please be sure to contact one of the organizers beforehand. One of the organizers may fill the role of a youth advisor.
-The church is easily accessible by public transit.
